Founded on November 8, 2016 by Bessy Alvarez, the Alva-Salva Foundation is a Non-Profit Organization where donors, clients, families, employees, and volunteers are considered our most valuable assets.

We believe that together we can offer a simple gift of love to people living in poverty around the world. Millions of children globally do not have access to essential resources such as food, clothing, education, and shelter. We aim to change that.

Our mission is to help the less fortunate within our local community first, and as we grow, expand our services worldwide. Your donation is important to you, and how it’s used is even more important to us.

Fighting the root causes of poverty, for a brighter tomorrow.
We support individuals who are seeking employment by providing help with resume preparation and referrals to companies that have job opportunities or openings.
We extend our assistance beyond borders by providing non-perishable food, new or used clothes, shoes, toiletries, and other essential daily living items to other countries. Our logistics team ensures that donations are delivered to the people who need them most.
This program supports individuals and families in need with partial or total payment of utility bills. Assistance is available once a year based on eligibility and the availability of resources (by appointment only).
To assist our community, we have created an emergency food pantry where families and individuals in need are welcome to receive a free bag of non-perishable food. Clients also have the opportunity to select the items they need if available. We provide essentials like toiletries, clothes, and other daily living necessities.
